Overview

Lumbini is one of many magnets for pilgrimage that sprang up in places pivotal to the life of the Buddha. Lumbini has a number of older temples, including the Mayadevi Temple, and various new temples, funded by Buddhist organizations from various countries, have been completed or are still under construction. Many monuments, monasteries, and a museum, and the Lumbini International Research Institute are also within the holy site.

Pokhara is a metropolitan city in Nepal, which serves as the capital of Gandaki Pradesh. It is the country's largest metropolitan city in terms of area and second-largest in terms of populations. The city also serves as the headquarters of Kaski District. Pokhara is located 200 kilometres (120 miles) west of the capital, Kathmandu. The altitude varies from 827 metres (2,713 feet) in the southern part to 1,740 metres (5,710 feet) in the north.

Chitwan is one of the few remaining undisturbed vestiges of the Terai region, which formerly extended over the foothills of Nepal. It was originally a dense forest with wild animals like leopards and Bengal tigers. It was ruled by Chitrsen Baba and rishis meditated in the forest.

Itinerary

DAY 1

Kathmandu to Pokhara

First day, we start our travel from Kathmandu towards Pokhara. After 4-6 hours travel, we reach Pokhara. We visit fewa lake, Taal Barahi temple, Bindhyabasini temple and site seen of mountain views. Stay overnight in Pokhara at Standard hotel.

DAY 2

Explore Pokhara & travel to lumbini

We explore Pokhara till lunch then we start to journey towards Lumbini. On the way we visit palpa tansen. Overnight at hotel in lumbini

DAY 3

Lumbini to Chitwan /Sauraha

Early morning after breakfast we explore Lumbini Birth place of Gautam Buddha .We heading to Chitwan, after 4-6 hours travel, we reach Chitwan. We can observe cultural dance of Tharu community in Chitwan. Jungle safari, vising Chitwan national park, elephant riding etc are the main attractions of Chitwan. We stay overnight at Sauraha.

DAY 4

Sauraha to Kathmandu

After breakfast we explore chitwan national park and have jeep safari After we head towards Kathmandu. We reach Kathmandu about 6-8 hours’ travel. After arriving Kathmandu finally ends our trip.
