What are the main terms of booking with Yatra Holiday?
“Our booking terms require a non-refundable deposit, full payment 45 days before departure, and mandatory travel insurance. Cancellations within 45 days are non-refundable, and travelers are responsible for their own visa and passport validity. Yatra Holiday acts as an intermediary and is not liable for third-party service failures or force majeure events.”
1. Booking and Payments
All bookings must be confirmed with a non-refundable deposit as specified at the time of reservation. Full payment must be received at least 45 days prior to the departure date. For last-minute bookings (within 45 days of departure), full payment is required immediately upon confirmation.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation fees apply as follows: More than 60 days: Loss of deposit; 60-45 days: 50% of total cost; Less than 45 days: 100% of total cost. No refunds will be issued for unused services once the tour has commenced.
3. Passport and Visas
It is the traveler's responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport (at least 6 months validity from the date of return) and the necessary visas for all countries visited. Yatra Holiday provides visa assistance but cannot guarantee visa approval, which is at the sole discretion of the respective embassies.
4. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers. This should cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal liability. Proof of insurance must be provided before the tour begins.
5. Limitation of Liability
Yatra Holiday acts as an intermediary between travelers and service providers (airlines, hotels, transport companies). We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or irregularity caused by these providers or due to force majeure events including natural disasters, strikes, or political instability.
6. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kathmandu, Nepal.
